The Web app loads but every request fails

The browser can’t reach the API.

• Same domain: your proxy must send /api/* to the API. The Web container doesn’t proxy it.
• Separate API domain: set PLAYDEX_API_URL=https://api.example.com/api/ on Web (with the trailing /api/), and CORS_ORIGINS=https://playdex.example.com on the API. Recreate the Web container after changing it.
• Locally without OrbStack: follow the Docker Desktop tab in the quickstart.

The API container is unhealthy

It’s listening on 8080 instead of 3000. Set ASPNETCORE_URLS=http://+:3000.

“DATABASE_URL is required”

Set it on the API and Admin. With a URL, query strings like ?sslmode=require are dropped. Use Host=…;Database=…;Username=…;Password=…;Ssl Mode=Require instead.

Admin: “Database schema is unavailable” / readiness fails

Admin never creates tables. Start the API first so it can run migrations.

Admin login always says it failed

The account needs is_admin = true and a bcrypt password. Also check the exact email case. See Users & admins.

Admin pages freeze or don’t react to clicks

Admin is Blazor Server and needs WebSockets. Make sure your proxy passes Upgrade headers; Caddy does this by default.

Cookies or redirects use http behind HTTPS

Set ASPNETCORE_FORWARDEDHEADERS_ENABLED=true on API and Admin.

Users can’t save a Telegram chat ID

Apprise__BaseUrl isn’t set on the API. See Telegram notifications.

Game search only finds a few games

IGDB isn’t configured. See IGDB.

The “AI draft” button is missing

AiDrafts__Enabled, AiDrafts__ApiKey and AiDrafts__Model all need to be set.
